the under 13’s, may we express particular thanks to Graham Hall and
Natalie Munt, who have helped to expertly guide our younger

Gobi Triumphs in the 4 Nations Disabled Badminton Championships - Irish Leg
Gobi Ranganathan managed to retain the Men’s Singles title, and regain the Men’s Doubles title in Lisburn, Northern Ireland weekend, 23rd November. He reports: I didn’t get a chance to do a Mixed Doubles as I didn’t have a partner to play with but still pleased, particularly as I didn’t drop a single game over the whole weekend. Thanks to all of you again for helping me throughout this year – the court time, funding, and general support and encouragement. I really couldn’t have achieved any of this without your support and assistance. It’s rounded off what has been a fantastic year for me so thanks again. My sights are set on the English leg in Liverpool (13-15th Feb ’09) and also the German Open in Dortmund in May. The European Championships date and venue has yet to be announced but there are also plans for a World Championships in Korea too. All going well, I’m hoping to take part in those so I can fly the flag for Stevenage and England. In the meantime, thank you all so much for your continued support. Best wishes |
