This season's list of mainly league-playing clubs is organised by location and are updated mainly when clubs and league organisers provide fresh details. The leagues' updates and their abbreviation for the club data are shown at the bottom of the page. Please send updates to DaveBartlett.
Clubs in bold are affiliated or associated to Herts Badminton Association and BADMINTON England (BE) through which they have their insurance, child protection and equity status (see Membership Benefits).
Clubs are accredited for standards of quality by BE for Duty of Care and Child Protection, Coaching and Competition, Sports Equity Ethics and Club Management. There are two accreditation levels increasing in scope: 'Foundation', and 'Premier' (Premier previously called 'Silver' and is the same as Sport England 'Clubmark' in other sports). Accredited clubs are also shown on the BE and Herts Sports Partnership websites. Adult clubs that take juniors are indicated '(jnrs)' beside their name, any age restrictions are shown, for example '>13yrs' meaning over 13 years old. Those Junior clubs that take juniors 16+ are included here but more details are on the Junior clubs page.
